Description:
One morning, a young fox wakes to find the world blanketed in snow. Both the mother fox and her kit are startled by its brilliant brightness. For the young fox, it is the first snow of its life. After playing outside with abandon, the kit's paws turn bright red from the cold. Moved by pity, the mother fox decides to venture into town to buy gloves, but the thought of humans makes her hesitate with fear. This beloved children's tale by Natsume Soseki captures the heartfelt exchange between two beings from different worlds.
