The explanation is provided only in Part 1, while Part 2 is designed so you can casually flip through and gain creative inspiration just by browsing. The reference materials used for the human figure pose illustrations often have bodies hidden by clothing or supports (pillars that hold sculptures), and for such areas, I estimated body contours or added details. As I practiced drawing repeatedly, I became able to easily predict these hidden parts. Of course, some illustrations are not based on actual observation of sculptures, so I cannot guarantee their accuracy. Please consider them as examples of "how a person researching artistic anatomy might reconstruct missing parts." The human figure pose illustrations in this book combine a basic form (like a figure or mannequin base) with anatomical structure. I took geometrically refined human figures and shifted them slightly toward anatomical structure, designing division lines accordingly. The torso, arms, and legs are each color-coded. By focusing on just the torso, just the arms, or just the legs, you can organize information such as "size proportions," "length proportions," "degree of twist," "degree of bend," and "how they change left to right," making it easier to understand. Finally, I hope this book becomes a source of inspiration for pose and human figure expression for everyone who reads it. This book avoids using difficult-looking kanji terminology.
