Description:
Toshishun sets out on a journey seeking the way of the immortals and learns that there are things more precious than treasure and power in "Toshishun"; "The Nose" depicts human psychology through the envy of others' happiness and mockery of their misfortune; and "In a Grove" features conflicting testimonies from those involved in a death discovered in a thicket, with the truth remaining unclear until the end. This collection of three short stories by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, who drew inspiration from classical works such as "Konjaku Monogatari" and "Uji Shui Monogatari" and left behind many masterpieces, can be enjoyed in easy English.
