Starting July 2010, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test was revised, changing from the previous four-level system (Levels 1-4) to a five-level system (N1-N5). This book is a newly revised edition aligned with this change. Taking the new proficiency test into account, grammar patterns are now displayed in five levels marked as ★1 through ★5.
