Description:
A thousand years have passed since the collapse of a giant civilization destroyed by the war known as "the Seven Days of Fire." On the barren land, a toxic jungle called the Sea of Corruption spreads like a forest of death. The Valley of the Wind, home to the protagonist Nausicaä, is invaded by Kushana and her forces, who wield a terrifying giant warrior to burn away the Sea of Corruption. Nausicaä seeks to live in harmony with the forest of the Sea of Corruption, while others wish to destroy it. But the Sea of Corruption holds a secret... This is the original manga series that inspired the film "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," serialized in Monthly Animage. The film's story covers approximately the first two volumes of the manga, but the original work reveals Nausicaä's adventures that were not depicted in the movie. A masterpiece that spans a unique world created by Hayao Miyazaki, moving readers with each new reading.
