Description:
My sister's death. A head injury that stole my memories. Strange omens that visit my younger brother. And a forbidden romance with my sister's lover. Swept up in events beyond my control, I travel to Kochi unable to reclaim my former self, then journey further to Saipan. As I spend time traveling, I—half-dead inside—begin to truly witness everything around me, feeling with my whole being what it means to live fully and to know happiness. A nostalgic and tender golden tale. Yoshimoto Banana's monumental long novel.
