Description:
In the 11th century, the Nordic lands were ravaged by warfare at the hands of the Vikings, feared as barbarians. Among them was a boy named Thorfinn, whose father was murdered and who charged across battlefields seeking revenge. He lived to kill his nemesis Askeladd and fought to survive. But when Askeladd meets an unexpected death amid the struggle for the English throne, Thorfinn loses his only purpose. Reduced to slavery, he nevertheless continues to envision Vinland, a land of peace and abundance. When will a day of rest finally come? The story of a "true warrior" unfolds.
