Description:
In the 11th century, the Nordic lands were ravaged by warfare at the hands of the Vikings, feared as barbarians. Among them was a boy named Thorfinn, whose father was murdered, driving him to race across battlefields in pursuit of vengeance. He lived to kill his nemesis Askeladd and fought to survive. But as Askeladd meets an unexpected death amid the struggle for the English throne, Thorfinn loses his sole purpose. Reduced to slavery, he nonetheless continues to envision Vinland, a land of peace and abundance. When will a day of rest finally arrive? The story of a "true warrior" unfolds.
